1 broiler/fryer cut up into 6-8 pieces, or 6 chicken breasts
3/4 cup white wine
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cooking oil
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup chicken broth
2 teaspoons brown sugar

Place chicken pieces in dutch oven.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.

Cover and bake at 375 degrees F. for 1 hour.

Then uncover and bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes more to brown and thicken sauce.

Serve with rice.
